No, there is not air conditioning in the condo. However, the two ceiling fans, open lanai door, and bedroom windows, capture the refreshing trade winds, keeping the condo cool and comfortable.

No, bed linens, bath towels, beach towels and kitchen cloths are supplied. A starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent and garbage bags are supplied. Most stays find this to be enough. However, longer stays may find the need to shop for additional. Hotel sized toiletries are provided at the start of your stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped, much like your home. There is an electric stove, oven, microwave, disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, and mixer. The cupboards are filled with dishes, cookware, glasses, cutlery and utensils.

We recommend renting a car for your stay. We have one assigned parking space. Uber, Lyft and taxis do operate, but are not reliable. The Maui public bus does stop in front of the complex.

Check in is at 4pm. It is a self check in. Check in information will be sent 3-5 days before arrival.

Check out time is 10am. Please leave used linens and towels in the condo, near the bathroom is a good spot. Load and start the dishwasher. Take out the trash. Turn off the lights, TV, and fans. Sunsets in Paradise is located in the Polynesian Shores Condominium complex, which is about halfway between the Ka’anapali and Kapalua resort areas in West Maui. Polynesian Shores is an oceanfront 52 unit, 2 story, 3 building complex with a pool, spa, gas grills, and laundry facility. The 2 acre grounds are full of lush tropical flowers and plants that are a treat for the senses.

West Maui is home to world class food, from top fine dining in Ka’anapali and Kapalua, to a number of great mid priced establishments, and even a food truck court in Honokowai. All are within 10 minutes of Sunsets in Paradise.

Whaler’s Village in Ka’anapali has many lovely boutiques and shops. Honokowai Marketplace, Kahana Manor, Kahana Gateway and Napili Market are all places to find unique souvenirs.
